I carry tiny notepads or my iPad mini with me when I travel. I like to draw while sitting in transit or in public. Often times, I capture what’s happening around me. I can never get my lines straight on bus, but I feel special about drawing the scene while I am in the moment. I drew two strangers fallen asleep in train being a support to each other’s falling head. There was a taxi driver peeing outside of his taxi in the middle of a traffic jam. The portrait on the left side is actually myself eating kimbap as I was walking back home from a local farmers’ market.
